The M30 sized metal housing rotation or speed sensor is inductive sensing and operates in the range 4-6mm when using a metal plate ≥ 30x30x1mm. The sensor is used to monitor the speed (both under and overspeed) of a rotating or linear motion mechanism where it is necessary to check whether the permissible speed has been undershot or exceeded.
